NSP/ANSI 332 Gold Level Certification from NSF International

DuraCeramic and DuraPlank II are the first residential resilient products to have been awarded Gold Level Certification.

So what exactly does this mean? NSF International is an accredited, third-party certification body that tests and certifies products to verify they meet public health and safety standards. The NSF/ANSI 332 Sustainability Assessment for Resilient Floor Coverings is the foremost standard to evaluate and certify sustainability of resilient flooring products.

Based on a life cycle assessment approach NSF/ANSI 332 employs a point system to evaluate resilient flooring in the following six key areas. Points are attributed and a certification level for sustainability, health and safety is awarded.

  • Product Design
  • Product Manufacturing
  • Long-term Value
  • End-of-Life Management
  • Corporate Governance
  • Innovation

FloorScoreŽ Certified

All Congoleum products have been awarded the FloorScore IAQ Certification.

What does this mean? When it comes to indoor air quality, a primary concern is the emission level of specific Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). FloorScore Certification means that a flooring product is independently certified by Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) to comply with the volatile organic compound emissions criteria of the California Sections 01350 Program.

Any product that has met these stringent standards is a product that will contribute to good indoor air quality.

The FloorScore Certification means healthier, cleaner air for you and your family.
